Grandstream HandyTone 502
The HT502 is a powerful VoIP router. The product's inclusion of an integrated high performance NAT router and 10Mbps Ethernet WAN and LAN ports enables a shared broadband connection between multiple ethernet devices. In addition to being SIP 2.0 standard compliant, the product supports Universal Plug-in-Play (UPnP), up to 2 SIP account profiles, and advanced telephony features.
STEP 1
Go to any browser equipped computer on your network and enter the address:
http://192.168.2.1
NOTE: Customers who use a home router must connect the computers Ethernet cable to the LAN port of the device, and the WAN port must be connected to the router during initial setup. Once configuration has been complete you can then change the PC’s Ethernet cable from the device and connect it back to the router.
STEP 2
You will be prompted to enter password, the default is "admin", then click the "Login" button.
STEP 3
You need to modify only a few parameters from the factory default. They are listed below and can be found on the “FXS PORT1” tab at the top of the page.
Primary SIP Server: 208.239.76.177
NAT Traversal (STUN): NO
SIP User ID : Enter the phone number you chose when you signed up for Linkeas service.
Authenticate Password: Enter the password that you chose when you signed up for Linkeas service.
Name: Enter your full name. This will show up as part of your callerid.
User ID is phone number: NO
Unregister On Reboot: YES
Outgoing Call without Registration: NO
Register Expiration: 60
Priority 1: RFC2833
Priority 2: SIP INFO
Priority 3: In-audio
STEP 4
Click on the "Update" button at the bottom of the form.
STEP 5
You will be brought to a confirmation screen on which you will click on the only option available: "Click to view your changes".
STEP 6
Click on the "Reboot" button at the bottom of the form.
STEP 7
Make calls!
